INTO THE TWILIGHT
poem
Dans le Crépuscule
[Poème]

Into The Twilight Yeats Traduction Artgitato & Texte anglais

————————–

Out -worn heart, in a time out-worn,
Cœur délabré dans un temps délabré,
Come clear of the nets of wrong and right;
Emancipe-toi des filets du bien et du mal ;
Laugh heart again in the gray twilight,
Sigh, heart, again in the dew of the morn.

Your mother Eire is always young,
Ta mère Eire est toujours jeune,
Dew ever shining and twilight gray;
Rosée toujours brillante et gris crépuscule;
Though hope fall from you and love decay,
Burning in fires of a slanderous tongue.

Come, heart, where hill is heaped upon hill:
Viens, cœur, où la montagne s’ajoute à la montagne :
For there the mystical brotherhood
Car la confrérie mystique
Of sun and moon and hollow and wood
And river and stream work out their will;
Et des rivières et des ruisseaux travaillent sur leur volonté ;

And God stands winding His lonely horn,
Et Dieu souffle dans Son cor solitaire,
And time and the world are ever in flight;
Et le temps et le monde s’envolent pour toujours ;
And love is less kind than the gray twilight,
And hope is less dear than the dew of the morn.

The Lily William Blake Le Lys par Thomas Phillips Traduction Artgitato française

THE LILY
Le Lys

The modest Rose puts forth a thorn,
The humble sheep a threat’ning horn:
L’humble mouton menace de sa corne :
While the Lily white shall in Love delight,
Nor a thorn nor a threat stain her beauty bright.
