« The ongoing of technology nowadays allows people to preserve their memories in many forms. For me, I want to keep the tradition of my people, the Magunatip Dance of the Murut people, in a more contemporary approach which is through the usage of video and animation. However, as a printmaker too, I want to display how the printmaking media of woodcut incorporated both the physical from of printmaking and digital animation into play. This not only made my artwork have an artist’s personal touch, but it also exists in an interactive from that will captivate the audience through its display of graphic and become a ‘living picture’. »

« La technologie actuelle, de nos jours, nous permet de conserver leurs souvenirs sous de nombreuses formes. Moi, je veux garder la tradition de ma population. Magunatip Dance of the Murut est une approche plus contemporaine, grâce à l’utilisation de la vidéo et de l’animation. Cependant, en tant que graveur, je souhaite afficher la façon dont le support de la gravure sur bois intègre à la fois la gravure physique et l’animation numérique. Cela non seulement pour que mon œuvre d’art ait une touche personnelle d’artiste, mais pour qu’elle existe également dans un cadre interactif qui captivera le public grâce à son affichage graphique et deviendra une « image vivante ». »
